Using breath, sound and movement we will open the body to a deeper energy that flows internally, allowing long-suppressed sensations to start moving and expressing themselves.
The session will open with a couple of somatic practices that will help is feel safe and grounded.
From there we'll explore together, moving towards more self-awareness and self understanding to get a better idea of what is actually alive in us; what is true for us in the present.
We'll then do a breathing deep-dive, using the conscious connected breath.
By doing so, we'll try to re-negotiate ourselves back to safety, interacting with all the parts of us that help us and the ones that once helped us to survive but are ready to be given another task.
This will help us establish a refreshed relationship with ourselves, other and our environment. Letting our nervous system know that we can carry and hold our full experiential spectrum; in other words - feel fully alive.
★★★★★ "This was an incredible experience, easily the most immersive and life-changing experience of this year. The facilitators were great; they cared about the safety and comfort of everyone in the room. The connections felt during the breathwork are nothing like I've felt before." - Dhiresh
★★★★★ "Second time at this event. Can’t recommend it more. The setting is warm and cosy. The facilitator is informative and delivers the ceremony beautifully." Georgia
Practicalities
Facilitators: Depending on the number of participants, Breathlife events always make sure there are enough facilitators in the room to make sure everyone is safe and cared for.
Equipment: Akasa has yoga mats and blankets available for you to use. If you prefer to use your own equipment or need something to sit on you're more than welcome to do so.
Preparation: Please wear comfy loose clothes, bring a bottle of water and make sure you didn't have a big meal right before the session. Ideally you'd also have time afterwards to allow for integration.
